  • Thanks for so usefull software.

  • Great utility with exceptional options. Running Win7 64-bit, installed easily and ran without issues. If you aren't afraid to move some files around and install some language libraries, and if you love Morrowind, I highly recommend this!
  • Good and useful software
  • Couldn't disagree with Zan more - I got this to work relatively easily, and despite it being a resource hog, it looks amazing. I don't even know why he says there are 'so few good reviews' when it has 92% positive reviews. It is also 'unprofessional', because that is exactly what it is i.e. Not professional because they don't get paid for it. Hate it when d******es can't troubleshoot issues that they have and then flame the developers who do this in their own time. Yes, it takes a while to configure, but will only be beyond your abilities if you are a total noob i.e. Zan...
  • I agree with all of the other negative reviews of the Morrowind Graphics Extender. Doesn’t work. Not only that, it prevents Morrowind from starting correctly once it has been installed. There is no Uninstall routine for this program either You are forced to manually go into each sub directory and pick out the pieces of this program to get rid of it. The help files lists no less than 17 steps to install this program, and the program itself requires at least a half dozen other programs just to start correctly. Instructions are vague and imprecise. There is actually a line in the help file which states that this program shares 2 different files which have the exact same name. Seriously, I’m not kidding. Sloppy programming, sloppy installation, sloppy support. That’s probably why there are so few positive reviews. Oh and by the way, as stated in the help file, this program is made by 2 different people and works differently (or in this case doesn’t work) depending on which person’s version you download. As if it isn’t already unprofessional enough. Can’t believe they also have a “Donate Money” button on their web page. They should pay me for the hour and a half of time I wasted trying to get this lame duck to fly. What a POC. Wouldn’t recommend this red headed step child for a million dollars. Thank goodness “LizTail” and “TimeSlip” don’t work in the medical profession.
  • I like this one, great project!
  • great software! :)
  • Using MGE with "Morrowind 2011" and getting amazing results. Brought Morrowind to life.
  • A little unstable at times, but wow, SUCH BEAUTY!! Pretty good performance too!
  • Great program. Follow the instructions and you will soon be enjoying a new Morrowind :-)
  • Absolutely fantastic. Brings Morrowind into the 21st Century. MGE does sometimes need a few tweaks to optimise it for a particular system but it really is worth doing if you want the best from Morrowind.
  • Really awesome stuff! Not for the faint of heart and unmotivated. Keep in mind what this tool is doing and you will understand why it requires tweaking and troubleshooting on your end. If you are willing to spend a few days experimenting with the different settings and shader effects, then this tool is for you.
  • Well, this mod seems to do everything...except work. Using the latest version on my computer, Morrowind won't even start. The only solution to this bug is to completely remove MGE and all its associated files. Nothing else will make the software this program is intended to modify playable. Only download MGE if you enjoy hours upon hours of debugging just to get the minimum features out of a piece of software. Obviously not intended for people who want to enjoy actually using the software they download.
  • Combined with the many graphics-improving morrowind mods, MGE can turn a 6-year-old game into a beautiful, if GPU-munching, masterpiece. Essential.
  • MGE is like a rendering engine integrated into an amazing open world game. I really enjoy writing shaders for Morrowind/MGE.
  • Thier are so many outstanding mods for Morrowind its difficult to recommend one over another. That being said, MGE is a must! once you have used it, its impossible to go back to morrowind the way it was. If you have not tried MGE lately, bugs are a thing of the past. Try it again, it runs perfect!
  • MGE brings Morrowind, the classic RPG, into the current generation with exceptional graphics and extended features.
  • I have been using the Morrowind Graphics Extender, widescreen, VISTA to about the middle of the game and it is FANTASTIC!. No crashes, using distant land with average 50-60 fps! Brilliant piece of software!
