If you answer a requester by F-key, naming F2 when e.g. breaking a delete operation but want to keep the copied files, the original file lister does not get released (busy pointer). That leads to a whole Ambient crash as neither no other lister nor the desktop can be controlled anymore. The same does not happen if you click the button "Keep" instead with the mouse.

Ambient, as it comes with MorphOS 2.x, is not aware of images that the user has replaced by his own ones.
Updating from 2.0 to any higher 2.y, even 2.4 does not preserve all settings. Ambient toolbar images (SYS:MorphOS/Ambient/images/ both menu/* and toolbar/*) get overwritten during every upgrade same as menu images and default icons in SYS:Prefs/Presets/Deficons. You have to restore them...

In Ambient Settings/Bookmarks module:
1. Type name of bookmark into Name text entry gadget
2. Type location into Location gadget
3. Click Add
4. Empty bookmark called "Unnamed" is added
Workaround:
1. Click add to add an unnamed bookmark
2. Edit unnamed bookmark.

I often find files with similar names that I suspect may be the same.
Ambient has a very nice compare files window when you try to copy a file with the same name over another file.
Is it possible to extend this to compare two files with different names ? Or is there another way to achieve this functionality ?.

When I rename a file the characters up to the first dot are highlighted.
Currently, if you want to add something at the start of the text you must press right arrow, left arrow to clear the highlight and place the cursor at the start of the test. This does not seem logical.
