I haven't seen any documentation on the windows recovery. how is this done? I am a windows user with some linux knowledge, but not that much - I'm no dd freak.
but I have a FAT32 partition with Windows ME on it that what it boots, gets stuck in a forever scandisk loop in safe mode, and there's no screen saver running in the background. I turned that off.
so is your data recovery cd going to help me recover my corrupted filesystem? I think there may be a bad block or two in the FAT.
will this cd help me recover from a quick-format of an ntfs or FAT partition? or if the partition got deleted?
testdisk is a utility for linux & windows that can recover partitions.
I hear there is a program called ddrescue which you can google...
