This project is now abandoned, and should be disregarded by the community. For some reason i cannot remove myself from the project so I assume I will forever belong to this bottomless pit of blackness. - PhyraxDesign

So far we will be researching what files are associated with the template engine currently in use in Boonex's Dolphin 6 platform. We all know, or at least most, that Dolphin stores it's template files in /templates directory, so that's a given. We hope to find all the files associated with all variables inside the template files and see which core files would be affected by a template engine re-write. It seems that most files are using /inc/design.inc.php somehow and they are all definitely related to it. I hope to have a better update in the days to come and probably upload some code. For now, we hope to look into various template engines rather than write our own. Once CyberXing and I get together we'll discuss Joomla's patTemplate, phpBB's template class, and the new Smarty template engine. I'm leaning towards Smarty. Anyhow, I hope to give more updates soon.
