It's been a long time coming, and this week saw the release of Beta 3 of Graham's Mobile Wallet for Windows Mobile Pocket PCs. Graham's Mobile Wallet is a utility for managing accounts and transactions. It runs on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6 Classic and Professional platforms. Add your accounts, track your spending. That's all there is to it! Whether you have an existing financial management system (Like Microsoft's MS Money) or not, you can use Graham's Mobile Wallet as a tool to track your accounts, anywhere and any time. No more will you get to the end of the week/month, and scratch your head in confusion, wondering what on earth you spent what on. It's all your cellphone! Here's a list of what changed in this version: * You are now able to close accounts that you do not use anymore. This does not delete the account, but simply removes it from the list of accounts. To get the closed account back, tap Menu -> Show Closed Accounts on the screen showing the list of accounts. (New Feature Request 2630368) * You are now able to mark transactions as void. This does not delete the transaction, but simply removes it from the list of transactions within an account. The calculation of the closing balance also does not take into account transactions marked as void. To get these transactions back, tap Menu -> Show Void Transactions on the screen showing the list of transactions. * The ChangeLog that gets installed on the device now only shows the changes for the latest version. For the full changelog, visit http://mobilewallet.sourceforge.net/FullChangeLog.php. * The About screen (Menu -> Help -> About from Accounts list) now shows more detail about the product To install this application, go to http://mobilewallet.sourceforge.net/, and click the Download link on the left. On the following page, click Version 0.3.2.0 (Beta 3), You have two choices: * Grahams_Mobile_Wallet-0.3.2.0-Beta3.CAB - Download this file if you do not have a previous version of the software on your device. Download it, copy it to your device, and execute it on the device. * Grahams_Mobile_Wallet_0.3.2.0-Beta3_Upgrade.zip - Download this file if you already have Beta 1 or Beta 2 installed on your device. Unzip it and copy its contents over to \Program Files\Graham's Mobile Wallet\ on your device. Check the website later on this weekend for more demonstration videos.

A new demo video for Graham's Mobile Wallet (Taken with version 0.2.1.0 (Beta 2)) has been uploaded. You can view the video on YouTube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hY2r0Jba8nw The video shows adding of an account, with an account number. Then, it shows adding transactions (debit and credit), editing a transaction, and marking a transaction as reconciled.
* Should the application crash, you will now see an error message before the application disappears * Fixed bug 2604517, where adding an account with an account number, immediately after adding one without an account number, would cause the application to crash * If the device battery dies, or it is reset, the column width of the accounts list is more likely to be saved (Bug 2577863) * On opening of an account, the application now scrolls to the last transaction in the list (Bug 2602148) * After adding or editing a transaction, the grid now scrolls to the transaction you've just added or edited (Bug 2602150) * Editing a reconciled transaction now actually marks it as reconciled (Bug 2609390) * Fixed bug 2599108 (Typo on account add/edit screen) * The About box now scrolls when the on-screen keyboard is up (Bug 2583873) * The list of transactions for an account loads much faster the second and subsequent time you open the account (Feature 2583883)
