MobileStarChart is a MIDP1.0/2.0 midlet for Java-enabled mobile/cell phones or handheld device. It simulates whole sky at any point on earth with constellations, stars up to 6 mag, solar systems and some other celestial objects.

This version has added 111 NGC objects

Minor-Fixes 0.09_reduced_stars file released: MobileStarChart-0.09-Reduced_Stars.tar.bz2
The only difference is that the stars are reduced to 1437 ones. Please give it a try if your cell phone doesn't run version 0.09. (possible reasons are the inadequate memory..)

NOW with NGC version and ReducedStars version
Two versions are now ready: 1. Reduced Star: version 0.09 with reduced star down to about 1500 stars only. The size is now down to about 110KB 2. NGC version: version 0.09 with 111 newly added NGC objects shown in the sky. They are yellow on the screen. Search is also working for NGC objects. Please enjoy. ps. All of this is done within a 2.5-hr work. I don't really have time to do it now. There may be bugs which I did not notice.
