July 29, 2006 - 0.51 - "Divide and conquer" Split into a server side and user mode Can be used as a service again Product and Vendor IDs now fixed at 4 spaces to match up with /proc/bus/input/devices.
July 22, 2006 - 0.50 - "One loop to ring them all" One instance can monitor many devices All code is in one program. No more readconfig. Added ability to block normal device output (thanks d_u_s_t) Lots of embarassing bugs cleaned out Much more output
July 16, 2006 - 0.41 - "C You C ++" Eliminated python calls from readconfig.c Eliminated some hard coded file entries Removed some unnecessary code from mmm3k.c
July 16, 2006 - 0.40 - "C You C Me" Converted most of readconfig to C Stripped out String based button entries Added a switch to send axis events Removed Category and generic config file entries Some code cleanup in mmm3k Mapping utility now includes specific commands for certain windows
May 26, 2006 - 0.34 - "With A Little Help" Menu based mapping utility now added FIFO pipe added to mapped output to aid mapping Window name based command options May 22, 2006 - 0.33 - "Booya Baby" Config files automatically generated Better handling of /dev/input during config Rapid-fire is back and now works even without movement Added user definable profiles Moved install script to a Makefile Made an ebuild Now works without X Now a runlevel service, capable of spawning multiple nodes Moved the install directory from /opt/mmm3k to /usr/local/mmm3k De-emphasized usage of the config.sh script Apr 05, 2006 - 0.32 - "A Complete Waste" Mostly a lot of documentation and commentary correction Cleaned up the flag parsing section Not really even worthy of a release Mar 05, 2006 - 0.31 - "Not Just For Mice" Adjusted the configure script to handle parameters Device can be specified via name, handler, or product/vendor Configure script can be interactive or not, verbose or not Configure script can more readily handle non-mice Adjustment of X is no longer necessary Mar 01, 2006 - 0.30 - "Not Quite A Yogi" Added an automated installation script. Added a (mostly) automated configure script. Can now use config files to change event commands on the fly. Automatic generation of config files (although the commands need to be changed). No limit on the number of recognizeable events. Even buttons 1 and 2 and the wheel can be mapped. Lost the button-hold-repeat ability. Ah well. It will come back eventually. Nov 02, 2005 - 0.20 - "Any Repitition Is Boring" Created the command arrays for better portability and easier editing. Any button can now repeat when held. Nov 01, 2005 - 0.11 - "Repetition Is Boring" Added the ability to repeat the audio button commands until they were released. Oct 31, 2005 - 0.10 - "Brute Force Hack" This really only worked for my mouse. It was a big long series of if/then statements that worked when you pressed a button. And yes, I was in front of my computer coding on Halloween instead of out getting candy. Geek Factor +10.
