MindGate is a virtual reality multiuser client - server system written in Java. The purpose of the system is to provide communication, persistence, 3d streaming support for users which are imersed into virtual reality worlds - stored anywhere on the Web.

MindGate Package Removed
Version 1.0.20 it is obsolete now. Package was downloaded 529 times. Package has been removed from download section. Download statistics - http://sourceforge.net/project/stats/detail.php?group_id=105519&ugn=mindgate&type=prdownload&mode=alltime&package_id=0 There are no release available at this moment. MindGate is moving now on X3D technology. I am looking for a reliable X3D browser. Flux it could be a candidate but I found it a little bit slower.

MindGate Development
I chose Eclipse as a development platform. The CVS contains the server root of the VR server. There are the folowing folders: - MindGate-1.0 (old version of MUtech) - MindGate (should contain the new version of the MUtech - 2.0) -- MindGate/Server (MUtech server) -- MindGate/Client (MUtech client) -- MindGate/Common (Common classes) - DocumentRoot (the content of the VR server) - WebSite (the content of the project homepage hosted by SourceForge) - Models (should contain 3d models) - Docs (additional documents) You are welcome to join this incledible project! Also you are encouraged to run VR servers powered by MindGate 1.0.
