- added "installer", which should improve the security by creating .ht* for the "db"-directory, and generally help the inexperienced user - changed the library for the XML-parsing to a one with a BSD-like license; the new one is a very light but powerfull one - exactly what we needed! :) - changed the format of storing the entries using "CDATA", which should remove the problems with some special characters (cyrrilic, quotes, HTML-stuph), and saving each entry in a separate file avoiding possible previous conflicts with category and date - changed the default theme to a one basicaly compatible with this hourse... what was it's name... oh, IE6 the new theme is currently the only one matching the new changes, so there is no choice at this time. we would appreciate any new theme and list any contribution to the official site (minb.de) - added "tags" (e.g. like in flickr.com [see "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tags"]) - added AJAX-code for enhanced performance and usability - dramatically improved the management of the modules, which is now possible by "drag-and-drop" - added optional BSD-licensed WYGIWYS-editor - added "upload a picture" option (the latter four features are intended to increase the acceptance in the population of the inexperienced users) - jumped to a new numbering of the releases because of the crucial changes
- the default theme (still "surgery") is now CSS valid, although the mindless IE doesn't show the page correct. - improved modules and added new ones - added a greeting message - removed the annoying bug with the chars limiter of the entries on the index. now the limit is set by a word(!) and not by integer. the default one is "_CUT_HERE_", but could be conveniently changed over the "preferences". used twice (or more) would completely hide the string after the second usage of the "limiter word". - removed the annoying bug with the absent date at "edit" of the entry. setting of the date goes now back to "preferences" from the "module settings" of "include/modules/main/1-entries.php". - removed "preview" because it is still buggy and I don't have the nerv to debug it now. you can expect it once again on the next release. - other minor bugfixes
06/2005 ------- - the outputed source is Valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional! - change of the db/users.db format to a more similar to the unix /etc/passwd one with the following syntax: [username]:[encrypted_password]:[uid] including support for multiple roots (admins) setting uid to 0 in db/users.db - improved code output to be compatible with the theme on all levels: = not only index.php but also all other used files read the setted theme this was necessary in order to support new themes - added changing the preferences by the admin(s) - added highlighting of the search phrase - changed design on some levels :) - minor bugfixes 09/2004 ------- 0.0.1 initial release
