• What MIACA is NOT

  MIACA is NOT a data repository: The initiative does not collect data from cell-based assays, e.g., for utilization or exploitation. However, MIACA indeed aims to stimulate exchange of data and information within the scientific community, based on standardized descriptions of the data and the experimental processes. MIACA is NOT a collection of protocols. Instead, we invite scientists from academia and industry to test the MIACA guideline on their specific assays, and to provide feedback on limitations and shortcomings of the MIACA guideline in order to further improve this community development.
