A new release of mDevInf the Mobile Device Information application is now available. This release addresses a problem with the display and management of the "id" pseudo-capability, displayed on a device's product_info tab. If you use mDevInf to edit and extend devices, or if you make use of the "id" capability introduced into the application at version 1.2, then you should upgrade immediately. Thanks go to Andrea Trasatti and Dave Reid for their help with identifying the issue.
Re-introduced the "id" processing into the method processWURFLPatch(). A check has also been added to ensure that the id capability is added to a device's data correctly. Effectively, the id will be added to the data in one of the following ways (in order of precedence): 1) To the product_info group where capabilities within it were overridden in the main WURFL file. 2) To the product_info group where capabilities within it were overridden in the patch file. 3) To a new product_info group if the device has no previously overridden capabilities in this group.
