We have noticed a small problem with the download that will make it difficult to set the portlet preferences to load a query.
When you login as dash you are presented with three panes of Content. Each portlet needs to be set up to run a query. The control around each portlet should be set to default – allowing you to select the edit (pencil) icon.
However all the portlets have boxed control – so the edit button is not shown. To change the control on each portlet – do the following:
1. Click the pencil icon on each tab – the Customize Pane for the tab is displayed.
2. On each portlet – select the Decoration pull down and change to Default. Do this on every portlet.
3. Click Save and Apply – it will display each page with the default decoration – allowing the portlets to be opened.
4. Do this for the first two tabs – the report tab is OK.
5. Click the edit icon on each portlet. Select the sample datasource and a query to execute. Click save.
The download will be reposted ASAP.
