How do I launch Alpine.command

I use the Pine MUA clone called alpine.command which lives in my Applications folder. It is of course a Terminal program, so I usually open up Terminal and then launch alpine with an alias.

I would like to do all that from MacBiff, but so far I've had no joy. Any ideas? Otherwise, MacBiff runs without a hitch on my IMAC box running Leopard. TIA....
