The first error related to the GTK theme is about borders being out of bounds. Its a warning that there is a mismatch b/w the image and the border size. As long as you don't see anything weird in your interface you are fine with it.
If you see the last line "(software-center:25754): GStreamer-WARNING **: adding type gulong multiple times Could not initialize GStreamer: Error re-scanning registry , child terminated by signal", thats where the program is crashing; rest all are just warnings. My guess would be that Gstreamer is not properly installed.
You can try changing the theme and see if software center crashes again. If not, then apply Mac4Lin and confirm if it crashes only due to this. I'm pretty sure its not a Mac4Lin issue. Mac4Lin doesn't have to do anything with Gstreamer or software update or any of the system files.
