Cannot set background color of side panel

    Glad you like Mac4Lin :)

    The background color of the sidepanel is a global setting. Making any changes in that will change the overall color. Maybe the newest version of GTK, GNOME may support this. You can try tweaking the gtkrc file in GTK theme/gtk-2.0/ directory to test it out.
