at our TFDL library of the University of Calgary. We ran into so much trouble with hard drivers failure due to over heated and dust thru the time (underfloor computers). the cost was not small. But we never had solution untill we found ltsp (diskless). It did not cost us 1 dollar, we got great support from the ltsp.org from the very smart people at ltsp. their support is better paid support. I surely recommend ltsp to you. Now we have built a wonder and advanced ltsp here, and it has been running like a charm. no glitch just perfect. ltsp/linux is so amazing that i could do a lot of different things such as serial port communication to turn on LED light etc .... Thanks so much to ltsp team. also want to thanks <alkisg> <vgrantc> for your superb expertise. Also if your system slow, bogging, and fail on windows then try it with ltsp/linux, you may be surpprised that it improves greatly. thanks ltsp!!!
