Hi,
liblrdf currently exports all the md5 symbols like md5_init() from it's library. This will lead to symbol conflicts if an application (or another library in the same application) exports those symbols to and in the worst case (if the other symbols are incompatible) this will lead to crashes.
This is not a theoretic scenario, it happens when letting the GStreamer LADSPA plugin use liblrdf...
