• LPD version 1.1 is available!

  Local Projects Database version 1.1 has been released. LPD 1.1 is the first release that fully supports installation on Linux and Windows servers. I am happy to announce the availability of the Local Projects Database (LPD) version 1.1. LPD 1.1 has some new exciting features and enhancements: * LPD can now be installed on Windows Servers, thanks to the PostgreSQL 8.0 Windows version. We have added a nice Windows installation document * In order to cope with the current technology, LPD has been upgraded to run using the latest and greatest of Jakarta's Tomcat 5.5.x and Sun's J2SE SDK 5.0 * RSS feeds with the latest updated projects and organizations, are now available * A database connection configuration tool has been added, to ease the installation procedure. No more manual config files editing! Get the new release and documentation from our Downloads section, and enjoy! Don't forget to write us your comments and suggestions to lpd@dgfoundation.org
