Segfault when running ON Fedora 8

    Hi All

    I just tried to use the software on Fedora 8 and I'm findind that the software is failing to run.

    As root, I get a sefault error, and as a normal user I get a gnome bug reporting window pup up and the following error "Cannot access memory at address 0x73637349"

    Straces available if they are of use
