300 * 10^6 points should be ok. The system never holds more than several hundred points in memory and uses a smart algorithm to decide which of your many million points to choose for plotting. This way you are bound to loose some resolution, but with this many data points it will happen one way or another. The only problem is that being meant primarily for real-time display LiveGraph will not load additional points from the data source if you begin zooming into the graph. So if you want to see an overview of your giant plot, LiveGraph is probably what you want, but if you require to be able to zoom into the detailed features, you may need a slower, but a more feature rich tool.
When you open your input file, LiveGraph will load several thousand data records, update the plot, then load another few thousand records, update the plot again, and so on. So you may see several freezes of a few seconds followed by plot updates when loading such a giant file. It would be great if you could post here how long it took until the complete file was loaded and what kind of computer you used.
    Cheers!
