persistent configuration
While I appreciate the advantages of dynamic configuration, my hardware rarely changes. I would appreciate a persistent configuration for my rendition of the standard parts instead of spending time to discover it every time. can't build xf86-input-wacom-0.15.0
I fetched and tried to run 'configure' for xf86-input-wacom-0.15.0. It complained that it could not find the package [b]xorg-server[/b]. Synaptic found all sorts of [b]xserver-xorg-*[/b] packages but nothing "xorg-server." What am I missing? My workstation is Linux Mint-12 (Ubuntu 11.10 based) with all current patches. The hardware is a Lenovo Thinkpad X220-tablet, Tablet PC.
