  • Comment: v2.2 (X doesnt start with Nvidia cards)

There was a problem with original nvidia drivers. Ver 2.3 sorts that out, by using default XFree nvidia drivers. - vkkindia.

Hello, My name is Albert Fazakas, I'm from Hungary. First of all I beg your pardon for my bad English, and promise, I'll try to explain my situation as right as possible. While booting, after 'Configuring display', the screen flashes, off and on, and then there is scrolling text on a blue background and the screen goes...

  • How is the initrd (limp.img) created?

Hi, I'm doing some experiments with LIMP - I'm trying to change to contains of the initrd. I've tried to decompress it with gzip and bzip2, but failed. After that, I assumed that the image is not compressed, so tried to mount it as ext2, ext3, reiserfs, iso9660, but I didn't succeed. Could anyone tell me please, how can I access this limp.img? Using the methods I've tried here succeed with...
