I'm interested of seeing the source code of LiMP. That would allows ppl to tweak it to make it work with neumarous hardware platforms available.

There was a problem with original nvidia drivers. Ver 2.3
sorts that out, by using default XFree nvidia drivers.

"limp.img" is a squashfs image.

Seems to me that this distro could really go somewhere if we had a well written and exaustive help section.... Sorry I'm not qualified.
Anyway, anyone manage to setup limp as a stand alone os booting from a cf card or usb flash? This would be dead quiet and EXACTLY what everyone wants - atleast what I want? If someone has managed to do so; PLEASE let us know how. A simple install help page...

The bundled ALSA (sound driver) has some issues with few cards.
The next release ver 2.3 solves all the issues including nVidia driver. This is due next week.

Tried running Limp Ver 2.2 on a Dell Inspiron B130 laptop and had a few minor problems.
During boot i get 'You passed an undefined mode number.' pressing enter and selecting 1 for 80x25 gives some compressed text mode and booting continues.
While booting, after 'Configuring display', the screen flashes, off and on, and then there is scrolling text on a blue background and the screen goes...

Hi,
I'm doing some experiments with LIMP - I'm trying to change to contains of the initrd.
I've tried to decompress it with gzip and bzip2, but failed. After that, I assumed that the image is not compressed, so tried to mount it as ext2, ext3, reiserfs, iso9660, but I didn't succeed.
Could anyone tell me please, how can I access this limp.img? Using the methods I've tried here succeed with...
