Light 9 is an event control system written in Python. It is a new node-based approach to theater lighting, but has other applications. Many aspects of Light 9 are similar to Max, by Cycling '74 (http://www.cycling74.com/products/max.html).
we update both a wiki and public cvs at http://light9.bigasterisk.com. please do write to us if you're interested in developing or using a similar system. we talk about light9 a lot more than we write it, these days.
