  • Comment: 1.6 and 1.7.x Proxy Authentication problem

I know some of you propably have given up on Liferea due to this bug, but I finally found time to fix this. I believe to have fixed it in SVN trunk and 1.6 branch. Please everyone retest! It would be good to get feedback before we do a release. To be released in 1.6.2 and 1.7.3 Once more: Sorry about the delay!

  • Reads media:title as title in LiveJournal feeds

When I subscribe to a Livejournal feed, any entries where the user has filled out the "Music"/"Now playing" field have that data as the item title instead of whatever the real title is. Here is a demonstration: http://phyzome.livejournal.com/data/rss Using Liferea 1.4.18, If this is in fact an XML abuse on the part of Livejournal, I can report it to their ticket system instead.

  • Marked text results in new feed

I have the habit of marking text as I read in order to prevent from losing myself in the text as I often get interupted, when I do this in v. 1.6.0. select a feed, a post and then mark some of the text in the post and then drag and drop the text and drop it in the post windows (the same window the marked text originated from) liferea creates a new feed with the marked text as the URL for the...

  • problems with fonts in reading pane (v.1.6.0)

Hi, I'm on Ubuntu 9.10 with Liferea 1.6.0 and I'm having trouble with the fonts for Chinese rss feeds. The reading pane are using different fonts (see attached) and I can't find anywhere to change it. I'm using firefox as my browser and have set it in the preferences and these pages display fine in them. Is there any way that I can change the fonts in Liferea? I'm very new to linux so...

  • "Remove" action needs to use "list-remove" icon

Binary package hint: liferea Feed > "Remove" , "Remove all items" Item > "Remove" All these items use the edit-delete icons , but these actions are non-recoverable delete actions. Ideally , They need to use the "list-remove" icon , which is more suited for this menu item/action. As they remove the selected item from the list. This would help maintain a visual consistency throughout the...

  • Comment: 1.6 and 1.7.x Proxy Authentication problem

Sorry to everyone waiting for a fix of this! I'm not getting to researching the problem. Missing free time... So far it seems like the libsoup methods we use to set a proxy on a session object simply do not work. Using a local proxy setup I could verify that passing the password to libsoup is ineffective. Nonetheless I'm not sure wether this is a problem of how we use the methods or if it is...

  • Comment: Images in HTML view pane load twice

Reproduced. I'm not really sure how to prevent this. Looks a bit like a Webkit issue. We never had this when using GtkMozEmbed as renderer.
