libvisual-0.4.0 cann't be built with solaris and sun compiler 12
I think this is portable issue of libvisual. I make a patch to solve this problem. see attachment for more detail information.

At a ThinkPad T41 I've a 1400x1050 display. With a stable Gentoo + current kernel + X.Org + amarok the visualization doesn't use the whole display. Instead it seems that only 800x600 is used even in full screen window.
