removed some warning messages output at compile time
* Added support for up to 2.6.24 kernel /fc9 distro * Added a default fedora tunables DB and a default SuSE tunables DB: when a fedora or SuSE release is not supported, we switch to these default DB's. Other non-supported distros switch to the empty default one. * Added 2 strategy routines to the library * Enhanced the tune_t structure to be able to support these strategies. * Added many networking related tunables (after iproute2 porting) + the associated tests. * Changed the tun_set() / tun_get() interfaces: they now accpet 2 ids. One for the path name if needed. The 2nd for the file contents if needed. * Changed the name and contents attributes (simplified) * For the set routines: if the file is not readable, do not return an error anymore. Just set the file contents without returning the old tunable value. This is because some files in procfs/sysfs may be write-only. * Changed the main Makefile to accept a FAMILY variable: if set, specifies the default distro to be used. This is to fit the fedora specfile.
* Added a default kernel and a default distro tunables DB (the distro one is empty): when a kernel release or a distro is not supported the default one will be used to build the tunables DB. * Added the "-a" option to get_current_distro.sh: outputs the family concatenated to the distro release (ex: fc8).
* Added support for fc8 distro * The string comparison has been made non-case sensitive in the bison files. * Added some strings for the meminfo and cpuinfo lexer.
* Added support for up to 2.6.23 kernel releases * Renamed all the *FC* to *fc* to make them map the dist tag in the spec file
