Hi Viktor.
Currently only "direct scoring" mechanism implemented in stage caclulations. I mean the G-RES-F wich icrements/decrements values in two rows (team standings) accordingly to one game result.
Meanwhile there are several algorithms used for automatical resolution of conflicts and they are based on "indirect scoring". For instance let see on the Buchholz factor...

I'm not advanced developer, so guile (nor R5RS) concepts are somewhat hard to understand to me. I'm trying to implement a new tournament definition and reached some sort of success but when i do something crooked and see "[libtour] misc-error: (#f "Wrong type to apply: ~S" (#<undefined>) #f)" in tourcli's output, i can't get where is the trouble.

Currently no, but it's an interesting idea: it would be possible
to extend the libtour's notion of "game" to a "sporting event"
and allow more than two participants...

Every example in the library are for sports of two
players. Could libtour manage sports like swimming, car
races, ...?.
