Hello,
Here is a patch against svn320 to libtoolize libgarmin. This way all choices between shared lib, static lib, or both are possible.

Hi,
I am in the process of pushing Navit into the Debian distribution. It is
almost done: the package is now waiting at the Debian ftp-master door:
The current package hasn't the garmin map plugin enabled because it
depends on libgarmin which isn't in Debian yet.
The next step is to push libgarmin into...
