This is the second alpha release of a new project - faster asm version - asm no longer needs MMX - ctx parameter first in all calls - cbc reinstated
This is the first alpha release of a new project - the API is not set - everything has changed because there was no earlier release.
This has taken longer than I expected/hoped... ain't that always the way. However I expect to release a copy of libaes within the next couple of days. This will be an alpha in that I am soliciting opinion on how the API is structured, so the next release may have a very different API/prototype set. However the code is reasonably well tested and based on Brian Gladman's AES implementation. Additionally I have written code to take the released test vectors for AES and run them against the compiled library - this gives a very high degree of certainty that the library works correctly. The initial release will include:- - C AES implementation - Pentium/MMX assembler encrypt/decrypt implementation - Test vectors and test program - Speedtest program
