Per-application (personal) firewall for Linux OS (based on iptables and libnetfilter_queue) which enables to allow or deny Internet access on a per-application basis rather than on a port/protocol basis.

There are some issues I fight with, but the beginning is promising.

I really liked this project. I have modified script a bit and added few bash scripts alongwith a perl script for clean "Start/ Stop Firewall". I also created a Debian package and finally added it into my security oriented distro ESSPEE-R3. Though this project needs some improvements:- (1) Core Dump is very often while updating rules in main window. (2) Outgoing connection does not show the destination IP and destination port. (3) Start-up issue with system boot and backgrounding in D-Bus menu. (4) Pop-up window (Outgoing/ Incoming) should be appeared on top of all application. (5) Parallel pop-up notifications for multiple applications asking permission. (6) Tips for users, in case of critical or well known application shows pop-up.
