The Lemur Toolkit

I use lemur as a database, and store about 3~5G data,as follows 1254326400 ...

the index parameter has specifited that date fileld is a numeric. when retrieval i want the result order by date. how can I do please? Do I have to modify the lemur range algorithm code?
