laugh out loud is a database driven joke website, simple in design but very powerful and capable. With an admin backend to approve jokes, create categories and add adsense or other advertising units it's quite a complete system.

Laugh out Loud is born!
This project is being developed out of a simple script by author Kevin Yank who has produced many sitepoint books on PHP and MySQL amongst others. The third edition of Kevin's popular book on the subject of building database driven websites is available here > http://www.sitepoint.com/books/phpmysql1/ The purpose of this project is to take Kevin's completed project and turn it into something much more feature rich. Kevin Yank has kindly given his permission to replicate his code for this project for which I thank him greatly for. The first publically available download of this software is simply Kevins completed design.
