Check this out if you're just comparing this software category. Metadata options for the Community Version still not quite up to the best chargeable apps, but pretty darn good. Metadata & Workflow admin configuration for a complete environment takes longer than with most other apps. Requires at least some basic exposure or prior use of a Document Management app to eke out all the capabilities. BUT: very flexible and reliable, pretty easy for users, and doesn't lock you into any kind of proprietary nightmare. Widely localized, and has thumbnails and multi-select fields now - nice. Works well on lower resource environments too. Highly recommended.
