KStation is a stock and commodity technical analysis tool that emulates the behaviour of TradeStation and MetaStock. It allows users to completely customize application behaviour through a sophisticated dynamic library system.

Just sleeping. I've been asleep for a bit. Letting ideas percolate. I've learned all about several alternative scripting languages, plus I've spent some time learning flex and bison. Look for a bit more code to be released in the next few weeks...
Not to cast aspersions on any specific commercial system *cough* MetaStock *cough* but I've come up with another requirement for KStation. KStation will parse scripts in an intelligent way. If you do this: if( 4 = 4, 4, 4 / 0) in MetaStock as a custom indicator, it shouts at you because of the divide by zero DESPITE the fact that it shouldn't even be evaluating it. Argh.
Well, it took a little longer than I thought it would. My daughter is 3 months old and sometimes she's just too cute to ignore... Anyways, a preliminary set of requirements is in the Docs section. Have a look. Let me know what you think. Am I missing anything?
Howdy. I have high hopes for this project. It's been in the works (in bits and pieces) for a few years now, but nothing much has become of it. Lately, there was a breakthrough in the design that will allow both platform-independence and application exstensibility through a simple and flexible dynamic library manager. I'll have preliminary plans available here within a few days. I will be looking for developers that want to help out, but I want to lay down the core design first. Once that's out of the way, there will be lots of elbow-room to work and numerous bits to be built. I hope you come back to see how we've progressed.
