The main goal for a shutdown tool is to save energy. When kids forget to shutdown their computer, a shutdown tool must support something, like shutdown the PC after 15 min. of inactivity. This main function of a shutdown tool is not supported by KShutDown.

Auto shutdown is useful when long lasting Virus Scan, Deflag, download of installation CD are done while we are out.
