I'm using OSX 10.5 with the same problem.
For interest, I am running 1.5.0_19
Is there some sort of debugging level I can set at when I run it at the command line? Happy to do that and do as many tests as you fancy.
What time zone are you in (I am in GMT+10? I am more than happy for you to VNC in to my Mac at home for an extended period - my broadband is pretty healthy, connection is fine - just need to lower the screen res for as it's the big iMac and sending the standard res would probably slow it down a little. Please consider this an option if you have the time. Not sure what version of java that's running, but you could feel free to dick around with that too :)
Jonas, I would like to add my words of thanks - this is the only truly cross-platform tool out there, really simple - looking forward to using it when checking in code to our project (demo/doco).
