Also getting this crash on exit issue :(
There also seems to be an issue with resizing the window while playing a video where the window jumps between the original and the new size back and forth.

Hace poco migre a KDE por la presentacion que este programa tiene pero al instalarlo en mi computadora Dell inspiron 1501 con debian 5 note dos cosas importante
1..- el mouse de mi computadora no funciona solo funciona conectandole un mouse externo a mi laptop

I've created a bug report(#2830875). Hitting 'quit' causes the KDE crash handler to fire up with
an error. This ain't so bad, but I can't walk away from a 'shutdown -r|h' because the KDE
crash handler pop-up stays there forever. Does any body know if KPlayer is being looked
after still - there have been no bugs fixed since 2007-03-10

When Kplayer is playing an audio CD, each time the CD-ROM drive light flashes on to signify a disc access, there is a silent gap in the sound output.
(This does not happen with, e.g. KsCD.)
This is with version 0,7, under KDE 4.2.4 on Mandriva 2009.1.
