KoffieNews is a Java-based Usenet news reader. It supports B-News, Yenc, UUenc and Base64 decoding of binaries. For posting binaries, it supports the Yenc and UUenc format.
Does not run under Linux, despite being a java app -- locks up when downloading newsgroup list, no icons (or tooltip text) for needed icons on subscribe popup, doesn't remember info for user or news server. Doesn't appear to have been worked on since 2004.
