A complete cleanup (for readability and ease of coding) and doccumentation of the original SMAUG 1.4a codebase, SLAM-GTP is also a minor re-write, bringing new features to the codebase, while also fixing and/or adding functionality to existing ones.

Our online documentation for building, running, and maintaining a SMAUG-P world server is in production. Due to the HTML markup limitations in place by Sourceforge.net we have to reformat the files as they did not upload as nicely as we had hoped.
The SMAUG-P Team has re-released the source, and made new file downloads available for users. The original source, under the Knusmaug project from 2 years ago can still be obtained from the CVS System, however all future work done by the SMAUG-P team will be under the SMAUG-P name, both on the project and in the CVS system. Also, please note that we have chosen to change compilers from Visual C++ 6.0 to Visual C++ .NET (2000). If you do not have access to Visual C++ .NET, we suggest that you use the older code from the Knusmaug CVS module.
