  • Static Word Wrap Bugs?

Hi *. Thanks for the great project. I have static word wrap enabled, and I would like to know if you are aware of the following two bugs in version 2.0.83 ( I was not able to find anything online): 1) When I comment a paragraph, it doesn't comment lines close to the limit well. In other words, if my limit is 80 characters and a line is exactly 80 characters, then it would add a comment...

  • File positions after recompile

Hi there, I'm using Kile 2.1b3 on KDE 4.2.4. I use "okular unique" as the viewer option (for pdf and dvi). When I recompile a document, okular reloads the new file but returns to the document start. With Kile 2.0.3 it used to keep its current position. As you can imagine, this new behaviour is rather annoying when working on long documents. Is this something related to Kile or is it Okular...

  • Followup: RE: Labels list for ref

OK, finally figured out how to do this: 1. Go to Settings -> Configure Kile 2. Then go to LaTeX -> General 3. Click "Configure" under "Commands" 4. Go to the Commands tab and select the group type (e.g. References) 5. Click Add and then fill in the details Once the command has been added, Kile will automatically produce the labels list the next time that custom command is invoked.

  • Kile accesses menu without being asked to

Hi all, New here. I use Kile on Fedora 11, standard package 2.0.3 on KDE 4. Everything is running smoothly, except that after a while, editing gets interrupted constantly because the menu is accessed. If you press alt you can access the menu using arrow keys or certain characters. With escape you can get back to editing. In my case, the menu is suddenly accessed without me pressing alt. It...

  • New features in kile 2.1 version

Hi, what are the new features in the last version of file? Is grammatical correction added and/or enhanced in 2.1 version? Look forward to your reply, Carol.

  • Followup: RE: Changed won't save to projects

I have probably the same problem with a fat32 partition, where I store my latex data. Everything is fine with kile working in that partition (compiling, saveing, reading). Except for starting a project there. When I select 'New project' and try to save someproject in a directory on that partition, then I get the error: **The file /home/common/papers/pap.kilepr could not be loaded, as...

  • Followup: RE: no Syntax Highlight after upgrade to 2.1_beta

Hi again, maybe this will help. If I run kile from the shell I get: Object::connect: No such slot KileDocument::LaTeXInfo::activateDefaultHightlightMode() Undecodable sequence: \001b(hex)[?1034h Object::connect: No such slot KileDocument::BibInfo::activateDefaultHightlightMode() Any ideas? Recompiling kile didn't work.

  • Followup: RE: Labels list for ref

Thanks for the quick response but that isn't exactly what I'm after. I have abbreviations turned off anyway since I find it more annoying than useful (it has the tendency to expand on some very common word prefixes.) I would like to be able to have the label auto-completion work with commands I define -- just like they do with the usual \ref{ }.

When a tex file is opened you should see on your left an "Abbreviations" tab. Click on that tab, then on the left panel right click in order to add your auto-completion labels.
