I am really grateful of Kiax 2 but curent beta2 has bug with windows 7 when i close to tray then i minimize some other program window and Kiax appears again to desktop.
I really hope that you continue development of Kiax because looks like it is only light phone that can make direct connect on LAN, maybe one day you add auto accept call and port changing feature and maybe in future...

I've tested and used Kiax for Mac OS and have had very few problems with the audio coming in. When I try to connect to the exact same server coming from the same location using the Windows version, the audio sounds just awful. I'm testing using a music-on-hold server of my own, and the music sounds jittery and breaks up often.

When I try to compile kiax2.pro (I am using QTCreator 1.2 ) I have problem with sprintf funk or atol. They are not declared. But, when I added headers, its works.
It's isn't all. I don't have lib. They mast be in "# LIBSDIR +=./libs-linux". But this folder is empty. Where I can take this libs?.

For the Windows version, if you store the settings in a config file in the same folder as the executable, this should be able to run from a flash drive, and everyone likes a "portable" application :)
