keka is a Mac OSX GUI for p7zip (7-zip/7zip port), Unrar and Unace. keka tries to be the easiest and quickest archiver for Mac.
Works as expected, simple and integrates perfectly into OSX. IMHO the only downsides are the brown icons it uses, especially the main program icon, I don't think it fits a sleek OSX desktop.
Great compression program. Keep up the good work !
I've been looking for a 7z compatible archiver for a very long time. Keka seems to be the answer to my prayers. I've been using the application for a while now, and so far, still a beta, but does what I want and without fuzz. GREAT work guys! Thanks so much! =)
New app, it's still in its initial stages. But it is stable and works already very well. The project seems quite active. Recommendable tool!
Great to see a decent 7-zip GUI for OSX in the works. Password support is a great feature. One feature I still miss is the ability to strip out metadata - when sharing zip files with coworkers or packaging something for distribution it important. Thumbs up so far, keep it up!
One of the few Mac OSX GUI's left that will allow you to create a password protected ZIP file. ZIP decompression is standard in most OS's, and most still support opening password protected ZIPs. (Cross-platform is a plus.)
Just updated to Snow Leopard and lost my Stuffit compressor. Found this free ware and it worked perfectly. Love the ability to password protect files.
Neat, I use this as a replacement for UnRarX which I used previously
Works great. I replaced StuffIt with this app. If you love 7zip for Windows, this is the same functionality, but with a Mac interface.
This is great software. However, I'd really like to see the option to extract only certain files, selected either in the GUI or using a wildcard/regex (ideally both GUI and wildcard/regex).
Great app! Easy to use, effective, and efficient.
