This is much better than pwsafe. I used pwsafe as none of the linux ports of PasswordSafe seemed to support gnome. I switched and will never turn back. The features pwsafe was lacking are completely covered in KeePassX. Not to mention they got autotype working on Linux (huge plus for lazy people who don't care to remember their password).

Great software. I've been using password safe (pwsafe) for a while but the linux version is lacking. KeePassX works on all three major platforms. Just finished migrating from pwsafe to KeePassX.

Use it at home & work for passwords & registration info. Macs, PCs & Ubuntu. The UI may not have quite as much sugar as some, but the functionality is solid.

Keepassx combined with dropbox have allowed me to conveniently generate, manage, and utilize unique and secure passwords for every web service I use across 5 computers and 4 different operating systems. Keepassx is a lifesaver!
