For some reason, it is all working now.
I am writing things into the box like Facebook*Opera
or *Evernote*Opera
But what confused me, is that I tried:
*Evernte*Opera
on the evernote site, note the missing "o", and it still signed me in?.

Try using the Overclockers entry on the facebook page. If that works it is something odd about the overclockers page. Might be worth trying a delay in the Auto-Type - {DELAY=50}
cheers, Paul.

Right,
KeePass just writes something like:
"Overclockers UK Forums - Opera"
but surely "*Opera" should match to that?
I ahve just tried gettingt he auto type to work with facebook.com which also requires entering an email address and it works perfectly?.

First things first. How does what KeePass added as the target differ from what you were using?
Remove the "@" symbol from your email address and try again - this is only for testing.
cheers, Paul.

Right, it works with choosing a target window but, I need it to enter my email address and I wrote my email address into the username box in KeePass but when I press ctrl alt and a, it just puts the first part of my email address is ie: rctneil
Any ideas?.

Sorry, lead you astray there.
In V2 you only need to click the Auto-Type tab, click Add and select the window from the "Target window" drop down.
cheers, Paul.

It adds this to the URL box:
cmd://"C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera 10\opera.exe"
I am testing it myself but it's not doing what I am aiming for and I keep try different things but I can't figure out why "*Opera" is not matching to my Opera browser window as any Opera browser windows always end in " - Opera".

You need to do the testing yourself, we are not able to read screens at a distance!
What does KeePass add to the Target Window field when it works?
cheers, Paul.

Right, If i use the select application thing it works but I just want to use the lines I wrote above. Why don;t they work?
The title bar ends in "Opera" so why doesn;t it recognise it?.
