Please do post any issues with the packages themselves in this thread.
I would really love to get some feedback about them -
what works, what doesn't, what troubles / error messages / warnings do you get on install or uninstall of them - or which packages should be added to the dependcy list -
everything will add to my understanding of making packages and making the next release better :)
One thing I decided NOT to add to the dependency list in the debian packages for Debian Sarge 3.1 and Kubuntu 6.10 is the (very logic) run-time-dependency on skype.
The main reason (as spelled out in the README.debian) is that I have read -far- too many complaints in the skype forums about ready-made-skype-packages not working as expected but that some people had better luck in installing skype either in another version or just the dynamic binary as an ordinary user, NOT as a system-wide-accessible program ...
But of course I could change that too :)
