Pros: Superfast page display , low memory usage , good download manager , tabbed browsing. Cons: File, Edit(etc..) menus not placed correctly, Favourites taking up one whole bar, not an applaudable UI . Impressive Browser. Ditching XUL is a good move .I compared display speed , download speed and memory usage of this browser with IE 9, MF 4.0 , MF 5.0 , K-Meleon 1.7 a2. My connection 512 kbps opened animea.net display speed : IE 9 = 5 s MF 4 = 4 s MF 5 = 5 s K-Meleon 1.7 = 3 s CCF ME = 3 s downloaded anime episode 60 MB from hotfile. download speed : IE 9 = Always shows avg speed = 54.6 KBps MF 4.0 = updates speeds every sec = range 48 - 64 KBps (unstable speed) MF 5.0 = range 53 - 67 KBps (again unstable speed) K-meleon 1.7 = stable speeds , range 59.31 - 61.88 KBps CCF ME = stable speeds , range 60.11 - 62.73 KBps opened 8 tabs, kept it for 20 min (telling in MB , approx values) mem usage = IE 9 = creates instances for every tab = 30*3 , 34*2 , 28*3 = 242 MB MF 5.0 & MF 4.0 = range of 140 - 180 MB K-Meleon 1.7 = 80-100 MB CCF ME = 76-94 MB Took me 6 hrs to do this. Hope it helps. Two suggestions : 1. Make the ( File , Edit )menus like oldschool or like firefox 5. 2. Remove the favourites which take one whole bar for more viewing space. Keep up the good work. Hope to see a better version soon .
