jxtaim-0.1i-docs has a different language documents ?? How can i setup this application as i dont have the readme in english ??.

you said you managed to get it to run. Did you run the latest CVS snapshots? or the last done release?.

i want to run it to link between me and other people i'm working with outside my LAN.. how do i set up the Rdv relay? (looks as if it's time to register here...... i'll probably be using this forum as a resource)
which brings to my attention that there have only been 2 threads started this year.... hopefully somebody is still here except me and the other user "nobody" who was asking...

no VM needed, it will run under windows OR linux, all you need as a prerequisite is an install of Java Runtime Environment. i had hardly any problem at all getting it to run, a little bit of trouble getting it to connect between the linux and windows machines (the threads here about "can't find buddies" helped me fix that)

it tells you haow to start it in the README file. i installed a copy in my linux box to /usr/local/jxtaim-0.1i/ and a copy in a windows box to D:\aimtest\jxtaim-0,1i\.
for the linux box, ./run_JIM.sh
for the windows box, double click on run_JIM.bat.
