JT65-HF (c) 2009...2011 J C Large - W6CQZ GPL Open Source Version 1.0.9.3 [1093] Testing - Potentially unstable. 1.0.7 [1070] Remains as stable version. ----- 1093 Changes. CW ID Enabled again. Please report any issues with CW ID (truncated CW ID is the bug). Changed TX code such that there is a somewhat longer tail out (silence) period after data and/or CW ID. Attempting to correct issue where PTT is dropped a bit too soon. Corrected TX watchdog code such that TX will be halted after selected count -- not selected count + 1. ----- 1092 Changes. Corrected condition where configuration is invalid and deleted with Cyrillic or other extended characters present. Disabled CW ID until issue with CW ID being truncated can be solved. Now Displays correct version number in title bar (1.0.9.2) ----- 1091B2 Changes. Emergency fix for unintended change to 1.0.9.1 -- If you downloaded 1.0.9.1 as setup-JT65-HF-1091.exe please download setup-JT65-HF-1091B2.exe for corrected version. Corrected RxDF lock to 0 when multi is on after double click to work a station. Unintentional inclusion of this in 1.0.9.1 ----- 1091 Changes. Divider line for decoder output is now an option. Decreased minimum height for main window to show divider line. Should display if display has room for 10 (or more) text lines. Added option for compressing the decodes divider line to never more than one dashed line in display. Changed TX control code to do away with truncated CW ID. Now sends expected characters or nothing at all versus truncated text. CW ID can now be set for Structured 73 AND Free Text or Free Text Only. Changed late start TX code such that data begins where it would have in the data stream IF TX HAD started on time. Should improve ability to decode late TX start frames, or, at least not lead to high DT error reports. Added code and options for setups where local format settings for decimal and thousands character are incorrectly detected. When this condition is present entering a manual QRG leads to input box returning to 0. Seems to apply to Windows 7 64 bit OS more than any other. In situation where configuration file has been damaged this is now detected and the corrupted file is deleted. This leads to no configuration and complete re-entry of settings, but it's better than a crash (for now). Future versions will try to recover the usable data in configuration versus throwing it all away. Option added for Enable Multi decoder after pressing Halt TX button. Run-away TX Watchdog count now variable instead of fixed at 15 TX of same text to trigger. Restored display of program's current action/status. ----- Files setup-JT65-HF-1091.exe Latest version, released November 22nd, 2011. Scroll down for change log. jt65repair.exe Configuration repair utility. In case of invalid and/or corrupted configuration this program will either repair the error or remove configuration so JT65-HF can be started again. This is now included with installer for 1.0.9 and beyond. readme What you are reading now. setup-JT65-HF1070.exe Previous STABLE version. You only need the latest setup file to install or update. The setup/documentation guide is included with the installer. Version 1090 and beyond also include the repair utility. For questions see the JT65-HF support group at: https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/jt65-hf Change Log Version 1.0.8.2 Corrected issue with QRG value being (like) 28.076,30 or 28,076.30 Previous versions correctly handled 28,076.30 but not 28.076,30. Changed internal order of program startup such that configuration and audio device startup is verified and set before starting decoder, RB and rig control threads. Attempting to avoid a double malfunction where both audio startup and rig control have issue. Won't fix that, but, at least, should isolate the two events making debug easier. Modified message generator to once again handle case of exchange like CQ W6CQZ [No grid sent and call sign not slashed]. Version 1.0.8.1 Corrected issue with local settings using , as decimal point leading to failure of message parser. Enabled searching internal heard call sign database list via Station Heard menu option. Version 1.0.8 Corrected issue with phantom decodes due to KVASD.DAT being left from previous passes. Corrected issue with invalid call signs and grids leading to unexpected transmission results. Corrected issue with some logging programs having trouble with ADIF file generated. Added header and insured all fields match recent ADIF specs. Added ability to set a DT (Delta Time) offset. Added ability to disable Waterfall display by setting speed value to -1. Waterfall will be enabled again if TX is enabled (or speed set > -1). Added ability to set a smaller search resolution for multiple decoder. Now supports 20, 50, 100 and 200 Hz bin resolutions. 100 Hz is default as seen in in 1.0.7. Smaller resolutions can result in more decodes at cost of (potentially far longer) decode time. Revised RB code. Should be little if any impact on user side, mainly an attempt to modernize the server side RB code and lessen its impact on my server hardware. Added internal database holding all call signs heard, bands heard upon and first/last heard dates. Added validation routines to input fields such that characters not in the JT65 character set are excluded from entry. Reworked frequency entry validation to better cope with values entered as MHz, KHz or even Hz and usage of , or . as decimal point. Removed WARC band frequencies from hard coded QRG listing. Too little agreement on what works globally to have these things hard coded. Added additional user defined frequency and message fields.
