Development on jShrinker has been slow over the last year. Starting this summer the schedule will accelerate to make up for lost time but, as of yet, a time-line is not in sight. jShrinker's system design is going to be reworked. Requirements will be documented, interactions will be logged, external resources will be reviewed, and decisions will be made that will effect the development of the project. The first aim of this redesign is to set a clear path down which jShrinker will be developed. It will also assist in the estimation on how long it will take to develop the initial version of the project, as a whole. The second aim of the redesign is to streamline how the application works and to increase its performance and usability overall. Check back weekly, especially in the forums. If you have any features you would like to see in the application, feel free to add them to the Feature tracker. Looking forward to the end of the project jShrinker will need a handful of individual skills. If you have any of the skills below, feel free to post in the forums or e-mail the project administrator at argetlahm@users.sourceforge.net. Required Skills: English-to-Other Language Translation -> jShrinker aims to implement multiple languages. When the time is right, the team will need someone to translate an xml file from English to another language. Java Application Programmers -> Extra assistance in the Java programming area is always appreciated.
