I loved the original TreePad, and was sad to lose it as I moved to Mac. Jreepad includes even more functions than the original TreePad Lite, and now that 1.6 promises font selection, I can wholeheartedly recommend it to all. Use the .jar on a thumbdrive and include all your files to organize on any computer around.
